Lumbus Studio review
A mobile-controlled cloud studio with strong production tools and a 1080p Studio entry tier.

Lumbus Studio is a cloud-based live production studio for streamers, mobile broadcasters, and small production crews. It accepts SRT, RTMP, and bonded SRTLA feeds, then combines scene design, overlays, chat, captions, polls, guests, recording, clipping, and multistreaming in one service. Control is available through a web dashboard and the Lumbus Live mobile app, while the service runs on a private machine in a selected region. It is a strong fit for teams that want professional production controls without relying on a local studio setup.
The Studio plan costs $99 per month with monthly billing. It includes up to 1080p60, five streaming destinations, a drag-and-drop scene canvas, chat overlay, live captions, clips, automatic be-right-back scenes, and browser and mobile app control. Studio Pro costs $149 per month and adds up to 4K60, twenty streaming destinations, on-screen guests, a public watch page, team access, priority support, and 500 GB of recording storage. The difference is meaningful for larger distribution plans, higher-resolution output, shared production, and teams that need more built-in storage.
Lumbus Studio’s standout strength is the combination of mobile control, contribution-feed support, and production features. It supports integrations with Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and custom RTMP destinations, while automatic low-bitrate and be-right-back switching can help manage changing broadcast conditions. Live captions, MP4 downloads, and live clipping extend its usefulness beyond basic switching. However, the lower tier is capped at 1080p, and the service is in early access. Choose it for mobile-controlled production, guests, captions, and multistreaming; choose another option if 4K is required without moving to Studio Pro or if an early-access service is unsuitable.
