Our verdict on LogistiCarl POD
LogistiCarl POD is a proof-of-delivery workflow for courier, delivery, installation and equipment businesses. Office staff create delivery jobs with pickup, delivery, customer and item details, then send secure workflow links to drivers. Drivers complete the process on their phones without installing an app or creating an account. The workflow captures delivery photos, paperwork images, recipient names, digital signatures, safe-place information, timestamps and available location data. Completed records can be branded, printed, saved as PDFs or sent to customers.
Pricing is structured around monthly plans and POD credits. Starter costs £19 per month and includes online quote requests, quote management, professional quote emails, customer quote acceptance, POD workflow access and 10 POD credits. Professional costs £29 per month, adds a business website, customer tracking updates, secure driver workflow links, branded proof of delivery and 25 credits. Growth costs £49 per month, includes 65 credits, enhanced website options, priority access to platform improvements and invoicing. The £5-per-month Invoicing Module adds quote-to-invoice, job-to-invoice, VAT support and paid or outstanding tracking. Additional credit packs cost £10 for 12, £50 for 65 or £100 for 140 credits. A seven-day trial is available.
The main strength is a focused driver workflow that combines evidence capture with branded customer-facing documentation. Workflow stages and timestamps help structure delivery records, while GPS and location data are captured where available. The product is web-only and does not provide continuous live driver tracking, so businesses needing ongoing vehicle visibility should consider a different type of delivery platform. LogistiCarl POD suits small delivery operations that want formal POD records without driver accounts or app installation, particularly when quote management, invoicing or branded documents are also useful.
