Affordable multi-site discovery with broad infrastructure coverage and on-premises deployment.

LOGINventory is an on-premises IT asset management platform for organizations that need to discover and document hardware, software, configurations, permissions, network devices, virtualization environments, and selected cloud resources. It supports small environments through multi-site and enterprise infrastructures, with web, Windows, API, and self-hosted options. Discovery is agentless through WMI/RPC, SSH, SNMP, and HTTPS/API, with optional offline-agent and logon-script methods for devices outside the LAN.
Pricing follows a freemium model. The Forever-Free plan supports up to 20 devices. Inventory360 covers hardware, software, and network inventory, while SAM360 adds software asset management with target-versus-actual comparison. Published annual pricing runs from EUR 6.50 per asset (0–249 assets) down to EUR 3.70 (2,500–4,999 assets) for Inventory360, and from EUR 8.60 down to EUR 4.70 for SAM360, with individual terms from 5,000 assets; there is no asset limit. Prices are in EUR per asset per year and exclude VAT. A 30-day free trial is also available. This structure suits teams that want to start with a small deployment and add software asset management as their requirements expand.
Its ecosystem coverage is a major reason to consider it. LOGINventory discovers resources across Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID, and integrates with platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer, Proxmox VE, Nutanix AHV, SQL Server, Intune, Exchange, and Active Directory. Network topology mapping, licensing, change history, reporting, dashboards, REST APIs, JSON interfaces, PowerShell integration, and multi-tenant support extend it beyond basic device discovery. Choose it for broad, multi-site infrastructure inventory with on-premises control; teams seeking a cloud-only deployment should look elsewhere.
LOGINventory pros and cons
- Where it wins
- Agentless discovery across network, cloud, virtualization, and endpoints
- Hardware, software, configuration, license, and contract inventory
- REST API, PowerShell, dashboards, reports, and topology mapping
- Where it doesn't
- On-premises deployment may not suit cloud-only teams
- Paid pricing is billed annually per asset in EUR
- Priced per asset per year, so cost grows with the estate
