Logflare is a structured log ingestion and querying engine for developers and teams that need API-based application logging. It accepts individual or batched events through an API, then provides querying, live search, schema management, routing, alerts, dashboards, and OpenTelemetry ingestion. Hosted and self-hosted deployments are available, with integrations for Cloudflare, Vercel, Elixir, JavaScript, Fluent Bit, Heroku, Gigalixir, Slack, Discord, and Google services.

Pricing follows a freemium, usage-based model. The Project plan costs $0 per month and includes a Logflare-managed backend, up to 3 days of event retention, and up to 50 fields; Google Data Studio is not included. Metered costs $15 per million log events monthly and adds up to 90 days of retention, Google Data Studio, and unlimited event volume subject to billing. Metered BYOB costs $10 per million log events monthly, uses a customer-owned BigQuery backend, offers unlimited retention subject to backend settings, and includes Google Data Studio. Enterprise provides custom event volume, custom storage pipelines, and sales-led discussions for EU ingestion and AWS support.

Logflare fits developers who value structured data, live incoming-event search, regular-expression routing, and notifications through email, webhooks, Slack, or Discord. The BigQuery option supports teams that want control over the storage backend, while self-hosting suits organizations that want to run the software themselves. Its main trade-off is that paid usage is metered by log events rather than a GB-per-day model, and the 14-day trial requires a card. Choose Logflare for API-first logging and deployment choice; consider an alternative if predictable volume pricing or broader support channels matter more.
