Listary review
A capable Windows launcher for fast file access, not a Start menu replacement.

Listary is a Windows desktop utility for finding files, folders, and applications through a searchable launcher and File Search Window. It suits users who want faster access to files, folders, and apps, with fuzzy matching, filters, quick navigation while saving or opening files, and menus for frequently used folders. Search results can also trigger commands and actions, while web search is available from the launcher. Its focus is file access and launching rather than changing the Windows Start menu itself.
The Free plan supports personal use and includes basic file search, basic app launching, and basic filters and commands. Listary Pro costs $19.95 as a one-time purchase and adds a commercial-use license, dark theme, custom filters, shared network-drive indexing, advanced search syntaxes, and custom actions. The paid tier is most relevant for commercial users or anyone who needs deeper search controls, additional indexing coverage, or more customization around search-driven workflows.
Listary fits Windows users who want a launcher centered on files, folders, and applications, including those working with cloud, external, or network storage. It is available for Windows, with current primary downloads for Windows 10 and 11; older Listary 5 downloads also support Windows 7 and XP. Choose it when fast search and navigation are the priority. Choose another category-focused tool if the requirement is a documented Start-menu or shell replacement, because Listary does not replace or customize the Windows Start menu or button.
