Linear is a project and product development platform for software teams. It brings project and initiative planning together with issue tracking, cycles, releases, roadmaps, documents, and progress reporting. Work can be organized in list, board, and timeline views, while custom views, filters, triage rules, and automated issue routing support day-to-day coordination. Web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android applications are available, alongside API and webhook access. Its positioning fits modern software teams that want their planning and delivery work centered on issues and cycles.
Pricing is structured as a freemium model. The Free plan costs $0 per user per month and includes unlimited members, two teams, 250 issues, the Agent platform, and Linear Agent. The Basic plan costs $10 per user per month with annual billing and adds five teams, unlimited issues, unlimited file uploads, and admin roles.
