Our verdict on LightroomPresets by lucamauri
LightroomPresets by lucamauri is a small, free collection of downloadable custom presets for Adobe Lightroom. It is aimed at photographers who want a couple of distinctive looks rather than a broad preset library. The collection centers on two effects: TiltShift, which creates a miniature-style appearance with narrow depth of field and vivid color, and Vintage 70s, which gives images a retro paper-photo look. Its community contribution model also positions the project as an open collection that can grow through contributions.
The pricing is straightforward: the project is free, with no paid tiers described. Both presets are delivered as Lightroom template files through downloadable ZIP and TAR archives. That makes the offer easy to understand for someone seeking a no-cost starting point, while the narrow two-preset selection limits its value for photographers who need multiple styles, categorized collections, or a deeper editing toolkit. Its strongest use case is experimentation with miniature and 1970s-inspired effects, not comprehensive preset coverage.
Platform fit is similarly focused. The listed software support is Adobe Lightroom, and the product is presented for Windows and macOS workflows. Buyers who already work in Lightroom and want two novelty looks should find the scope clear and appropriately contained. Those seeking mobile editing, video presets, or a larger cross-platform library should choose a broader alternative. LightroomPresets is best suited to users who value a free, focused download and are comfortable working within Lightroom.
