LifeMantle is a private, invite-only space for families to gather photos, videos, milestones, letters, and family stories. It combines shared albums, a family feed, comments and reactions, chronological timelines, growth tracking, and a shared calendar across web, iOS, and Android. Families looking for an alternative to public social networks will find a product centered on controlled access and long-term memory keeping rather than broad social discovery.

The free Keepsake plan includes a private family universe, timeline, gallery, family feed, up to 5 invited members, 1 GB of secure photo storage, invite-only access, and admin approval. The Family plan is listed at $99 per year and adds up to 25 family members, unlimited photo and video storage, a Future Letters Vault, growth and development tracking, and priority support. Legacy is listed at $199 per year, includes everything in Family, and adds unlimited members, a guided family storybook, legacy mode and inheritance, a family tree, a travel map, and white-glove onboarding. Paid plans are marked as coming soon, with paid access free during beta.

Privacy and continuity are central to the feature set. Future Letters uses end-to-end encryption, while the private photo vault uses client-side encryption. Role-based invitations and content moderation support family administration, and data export plus nightly backups support ongoing access to memories. Legacy is the stronger fit for families planning structured storytelling and inheritance features; Family suits households that mainly need shared photo and video storage. Keepsake is useful for trying the core experience, but families with larger libraries will outgrow its 1 GB limit.
