Labs64 NetLicensing is a licensing-as-a-service platform for software and digital-service vendors. It manages product licenses, licensing models, customers, memberships, activation, validation, online license purchases, and usage tracking through a management console and RESTful API. Its fit is strongest for teams commercializing software across online, offline, embedded, mobile, and on-premise environments. It is less suited to organizations seeking a conventional internal software asset management suite for tracking employee applications and procurement.

The plan structure supports an incremental move from basic licensing operations to larger product portfolios. Community is free and includes one active product, two product modules per product, 50 customers, 100 licenses, one API request per minute, and community support. Basic costs €80 per month with annual billing and adds three active products, five modules per product, 100 customers, unlimited licenses, and standard support. Premium costs €280 per month with annual billing and expands capacity to 10 active products, 10 modules per product, 500 customers, one API request per second, and premium support. Select offers customizable capacity, all supported licensing models, a dedicated managed environment, a 99% service-level agreement, and priority support.

NetLicensing’s main depth is its licensing infrastructure: configurable licensing models, entitlement management, product usage analytics, membership and pricing-plan management, and offline validation through NetLicensing Agent. REST API access and client libraries support integration with business systems, while PayPal, Stripe, FastSpring, ERP, CRM, and web-shop connections support purchase and operational workflows. Cloud and self-hosted deployment, GDPR compliance, and email, phone, community, and documentation support broaden its operational fit. Choose it when licensing enforcement and automation are central; choose another category of tool when internal software inventory and employee application management are the priority.
