Our verdict on Konsolidat
Konsolidat is an open-source enterprise performance management platform for finance teams managing multi-entity consolidation. It supports IFRS/GAAP close processes with intercompany matching and elimination rules, non-controlling interest calculations, foreign-currency translation and CTA, allocations, budgeting, forecasting, scenario management and variance analysis. Excel reporting uses =EPM() formulas, while REST API access and self-hosting support technical operating models. It is aimed at teams that want control over their consolidation stack and can operate software on cloud or on-premises.
The pricing structure separates software licensing from managed services. The Self-hosted plan is $0 for the license, is MIT open source and includes the consolidation, allocation and planning engine, Excel =EPM() and REST API access. The 4-Week Pilot costs $25,000 one time and includes a fixed-scope hosted tenant, connector setup, a dbt assertion suite and one consolidation scenario. The Hosted plan starts at $3,500 per month and adds managed infrastructure, upgrades, monitoring, OIDC/SAML SSO, 2FA, RBAC, audit capabilities, an enterprise SLA and priority support. These options make the product more suitable for organizations able to manage infrastructure or fund a managed deployment.
Konsolidat’s standout fit is its combination of financial consolidation depth and technical governance. Version-controlled SQL and automated tests support controlled changes, while role-based access, 2FA, SSO and audit logging address operational oversight.
