Kometrics review
A low-cost analytics option for subscription businesses tracking recurring revenue.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Kometrics is a subscription and customer analytics platform for SaaS businesses that want recurring-revenue reporting from billing data. It calculates MRR, ARR, growth, churn, retention, cohorts, ARPA, LTV and trial conversion, with customer-level views of subscriptions, movements and invoices. Its strongest fit is a small subscription business that needs core revenue visibility without a large software budget.
Pricing is structured around a free plan and two paid options. The Free plan includes all features while tracked MRR remains within its eligibility limit and does not require a credit card. Kometrics monthly costs $19 per month and includes all reports and explorer tools, API and webhooks, plus unlimited team members and workspaces. Kometrics yearly costs $15 per month with annual billing and includes the same paid features. The published plans make the yearly tier the lower-cost paid option, while the monthly tier avoids an annual billing commitment.
The product’s scope is concentrated and practical: supported billing data feeds reports, cohort retention by first payment month, forecasting, scenario analysis, a revenue calendar, risk radar for unsettled MRR and AI revenue analysis. Web, API and Chrome extension access support different working environments, while the read-only REST API, webhooks and MCP connector extend reporting into external assistants including Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex. Choose Kometrics if your business runs on recurring revenue through Stripe, Paddle, Creem or Asaas and needs focused subscription reporting. Consider an alternative if you need analytics beyond subscription revenue or billing systems outside those integrations.
