Kodular review
A low-cost no-code option for building and exporting Android apps.

Kodular is a web-based no-code platform for creating Android applications with drag-and-drop components and visual blocks. It is aimed at people who want to design interfaces, configure app logic, test through a companion app, and export projects without traditional programming experience. Its feature set covers mobile app basics as well as databases, authentication, storage, connectivity, notifications, maps, sensors, and monetization.
The pricing structure makes Kodular accessible for small projects. The Free plan includes basic features, 10 projects, 10MB of total asset size, and five extensions per project. It also shows ads during development, and monetization extensions cannot be used in projects. Premium costs €3.99 per month or €40.99 per year and adds unlimited projects, unlimited total asset size, unlimited extensions per project, monetization extensions, and ad-free development. Kodular Monetize costs €15 one time and provides monetization components that work with Free and Premium.
For platform fit, Kodular combines APK and AAB exports with cloud-based project storage, Android companion-app live testing, Firebase and Supabase database and authentication components, and a web component for network and API requests. Integrations include Firebase, Supabase, Google Cloud Firestore, Google Maps, Google Ad Manager, Google AdMob, OneSignal, and Stripe. Kodular suits builders focused on Android apps and low initial cost. Teams needing verified support beyond web and Android should choose a platform with broader platform coverage instead.
