Koala is a customer-intent and sales automation platform for marketing, sales, and customer-success teams. It collects first-party website, product, email, and advertising activity, identifies accounts and visitors, scores buying intent, and surfaces signals for sales teams. Its feature set also covers lead and account enrichment, AI-assisted company research, outreach drafting, lead routing, CRM synchronization, Slack alerts, and automated outbound workflows. That makes it relevant for teams coordinating inbound signals with outbound follow-up across marketing, sales, and customer success.

Koala’s main strength is the breadth of its intent and workflow coverage. Teams can configure intent signals, monitor intent strength and trends, receive real-time alerts, and use AI-powered content reports and signal suggestions. Waterfall enrichment, CRM intent-score updates, automated actions, and outbound sequencing extend the product beyond simple lead scoring. Integrations include HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, Outreach, Clay, Clearbit, Segment, RudderStack, Slack, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Intercom, PostHog, Census, and Hightouch. Web access and a Chrome extension support browser-based workflows, while Slack alerts and webhooks connect activity to other systems.

Pricing is unusual because the Free plan includes all features, while Starter costs $200 per month and Growth costs $1,000 per month, both with additional seats available for purchase. Business also includes all features plus advanced customization and support. A 14-day free trial is available. The larger concern is product continuity: Koala is scheduled to shut down on September 30, 2026. Teams evaluating it for short-term intent workflows may find the free access and extensive integrations useful, but organizations seeking a long-term platform should choose an alternative with continued availability.
