KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training is a cloud platform for organizations that train employees to identify and respond to phishing and other social-engineering threats. It combines simulated phishing campaigns, security awareness and compliance courses, automated training campaigns, remedial enrollment, a Phish Alert Button, reporting, mobile learning, and risk scores for users, groups, and organizations. Web, iOS, and Android access supports learners across desktop and mobile environments, while SAML single sign-on supports centralized access.
Pricing is structured around two paid plans. SAT Foundation costs $2.40 per seat per month and includes unlimited phishing security tests, the Phish Alert Button, automated training campaigns, and the Foundation training library. SAT Advanced costs $3.75 per seat per month and adds the Advanced training library and Risk Score powered by the SmartRisk Engine. The published monthly per-seat amounts are for a 3-year term, and pricing may vary by region. There is no free plan, so organizations should evaluate the paid subscription against the scope of their awareness program.
KnowBe4 also fits environments with an existing security and identity stack. Listed integrations include Microsoft 365, Google Gmail, Google Drive, Google IAM, Okta, OneLogin, Mimecast, and Proofpoint. Reporting APIs and webhooks support connections to other systems, while mobile learner apps, multilingual training content, and SAML single sign-on extend the platform beyond phishing simulations. Organizations wanting phishing exercises, recurring education, reporting, and risk-based follow-up in one product should consider KnowBe4. Teams seeking a free tool or the lowest available tier with advanced risk scoring should look at alternatives or budget for SAT Advanced.
