Kloxo review
A broad Linux control panel for legacy open-source hosting environments.

Kloxo is an open-source web hosting control panel for Linux servers, aimed at administrators managing hosting environments with reseller and customer accounts. Kloxo 8 targets Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, CentOS Stream, and other RHEL-derived distributions. Its scope covers the core services expected in a traditional hosting stack: web servers, PHP, mail, databases, webmail, FTP, DNS, SSL certificates, and security add-ons. The AGPLv3 license also makes it relevant for teams that prefer an open-source control panel rather than a paid proprietary product.
Its strongest advantage is breadth across server components. Kloxo supports Apache, Nginx, Lighttpd, and Hiawatha, along with multiple PHP versions and execution modes. Mail support includes qmail and Dovecot; database administration includes MariaDB and phpMyAdmin; and webmail options include Afterlogic Webmail Lite, Roundcube, and Rainloop. Pure-FTPd, BIND, Let's Encrypt, ClamAV, SpamAssassin, RKHunter, and MalDetect extend the panel across access, certificates, and server security. That makes it a practical fit for established Linux hosting setups with varied service requirements.
Kloxo is less suitable for buyers who need a clearly defined commercial plan structure, backup workflows, or application installation as part of the panel experience. Those limitations matter when comparing it with platforms chosen for packaged onboarding or broader deployment automation. Choose Kloxo when Linux compatibility, open-source licensing, multi-service administration, and reseller or customer account management are the priorities. Consider an alternative when documented backup and application-installer capabilities are central to the selection.
