KeyTik review
A broad Windows remapping and automation toolkit with a free tier and $20 Pro upgrade.

KeyTik is a Windows desktop tool for customizing keyboard and mouse input and automating repetitive actions. It suits solo users and small teams that want more than basic remapping, including multiple profiles, macros, application-specific bindings, device-specific bindings, clicking tools, and file-opening actions. Its open-source Apache License 2.0 distribution also makes it relevant for users who prefer software with publicly available source code.
KeyTik’s breadth is its main distinction. Profiles can use ASCII, ANSI, Unicode, virtual-keyboard-code, and scan-code input formats, while shortcuts can start and stop profiles. Application and device binding lets configurations change according to the software or hardware in use. The feature set also includes text and hold actions, an auto clicker, screen clicking with coordinate detection, profile import, startup execution, and custom appearance controls. This makes KeyTik a stronger fit for layered automation workflows than for users seeking only a simple key swap.
The pricing model is freemium. A free plan is available, while KeyTik Pro costs $20 as a one-time purchase. Pro adds an enhanced auto clicker, multiple-files opener, multi-copy-paste, always-on-top manager, and window size changer. KeyTik runs on Windows as a desktop application, with documentation listed as the support channel. Choose it if you need remapping combined with automation and profile controls on Windows. Choose an alternative if you need support for another operating system or prefer a narrower tool focused only on straightforward remapping.
