kapper.net Proxmox Hosting review
A security-focused Proxmox hosting option with contact-sales pricing and limited platform breadth.

kapper.net Proxmox Hosting provides virtual and dedicated servers in Austria, including servers with pre-installed Proxmox VE. It is suited to buyers seeking a hosted Proxmox environment with secured management access, configurable server options, and infrastructure features such as redundant networking. The offering comes from KAPPER NETWORK-COMMUNICATIONS GmbH, a Vienna-based provider founded in 1993, and supports Linux or Windows installations alongside Proxmox-focused hosting.
Pricing follows a contact-sales model, with the vendor directing prospects to contact it for further information. The service range includes configurable vServer packages, dedicated server rental, optional maintenance plans, and optional backup storage for dedicated servers. Security and access controls are a notable part of the offer: management interfaces are SSL-secured, SSH access is encrypted, firewall settings are preconfigured, and disk encryption is available as an option. Dedicated hosting adds monitoring, UPS-backed power, security updates, VPN maintenance access, and redundant network connections.
The main appeal is a straightforward Proxmox hosting setup with practical infrastructure protections rather than a broad ecosystem of platform features. Multiple data-center locations and optional service-level agreements are also advertised, while backup storage is available as an option for dedicated servers. Buyers who want pre-installed Proxmox VE, secure administrative access, and basic redundancy should consider kapper.net. It is less suitable for teams that need transparent plan-by-plan pricing, detailed resource comparisons, or a wider range of integrated hosting capabilities before making a decision.
