Kamatera Dedicated Servers provides cloud-based virtual dedicated servers for startups, developers, small and midsize businesses, and enterprises. Each deployment can include dedicated CPU, RAM, and storage resources, complete root and administrative access, NVMe SSD storage, and a configurable operating system. The service supports web and API access, with selectable data-center locations across 22 regions. It suits teams that want dedicated allocations without giving up the ability to adjust server resources as requirements change.
The published Type D – Dedicated plan starts at $19 per server per month with monthly billing. It includes a dedicated physical CPU core, dedicated resources with reserved allocation, and configurations of up to 32 vCPUs and 512 GB RAM. The service also offers a 30-day trial under stated usage limits. Monthly traffic is generally 5 TB, while Hong Kong, Sydney, Tokyo, and Singapore configurations have a 1 TB monthly limit. This makes the location choice relevant when network usage is a major consideration.
Kamatera’s strongest distinction is the choice between self-managed control and optional managed service. Customers can configure compute, storage, networking, and operating systems, then scale on demand without downtime. Advanced DDoS mitigation, cloud firewall management, and 24/7/365 technical support support production deployments, while extended daily backups are available as an option. Teams that need root access and configuration control should consider it; organizations seeking an all-inclusive managed package with included backups may prefer a different hosting approach.
