Juniper SASE is a security and networking architecture for organizations protecting users, devices, branches, web applications, SaaS applications, and on-premises resources. Its Juniper Secure Edge component provides cloud-delivered Secure Services Edge capabilities, including Firewall-as-a-Service, Secure Web Gateway, CASB, DLP, ZTNA, and advanced threat prevention. Combined with AI-native SD-WAN, centralized policy management, identity integrations, and branch connectivity, it is aimed at remote, campus, and distributed enterprise environments, particularly those already working in Juniper environments.

The published plan structure is tiered, although both listed entries under each tier repeat the same details. Standard includes Secure Web Gateway, In-band CASB, standard threat prevention, and TLS/SSL inspection. Advanced includes Secure Web Gateway, In-band CASB, advanced threat prevention, IDS/IPS, and TLS/SSL inspection. Juniper uses contact-sales pricing, and CASB and DLP may be included in or added to Secure Edge licensing depending on deployment and license tier. Buyers should clarify the required licensing mix before selecting a tier.

Integration and connectivity are central to the offering. Security Director Cloud provides centralized policy management, while IPsec, GRE, and proxy auto-configuration support branch and site connectivity. Identity integration covers SAML, LDAP, Azure AD, Okta, and Juniper Identity Management Service. The product can suit organizations that need security controls spanning web, SaaS, data transactions, applications, and branches within a Juniper architecture. Teams prioritizing transparent list pricing or broader listed platform coverage should consider alternatives instead.
