JSP Hosting is a shared Java hosting service from ITA Network Solutions for JavaServer Pages, servlet applications, and related Java web frameworks. It is aimed at small website owners, companies, and Java application developers who want managed Linux hosting rather than a self-hosted server. The service includes private JVM hosting, Java and JSP support, Tomcat, WAR deployments, Plesk, FTP access, MySQL databases, and unlimited bandwidth. GlassFish and JBoss are also supported application servers.
Pricing is organized around JVM-STARTER and JVM-BASIC. JVM-STARTER costs $8 per month, $22 per quarter, $42 per semi-annual period, $82 per year, or $162 per biennial period. The monthly plan includes one domain per account and 256MB RAM, alongside a private JVM, Java, JSP, Tomcat, and unlimited bandwidth. JVM-BASIC costs $10 per month, $28 per quarter, or $54 per semi-annual period. Its monthly plan adds unlimited domains per account and 384MB RAM. Both plans are paid offerings, with no free plan. The published pricing also notes that VAT is excluded and may apply to EU customers.
The strongest fit is a straightforward Java application that can be deployed through WAR files, FTP, or the Plesk control panel. Unlimited MySQL databases, Softaculous, and support for Tomcat, GlassFish, and JBoss give developers several established hosting and application-server options within a shared model. The trade-off is control: teams needing infrastructure customization, broader platform services, or a PaaS-style deployment model may prefer an alternative. JSP Hosting is better suited to contained JSP and servlet workloads than to projects requiring a more expansive cloud platform.
