JioAICloud is a cloud storage service from Jio Platforms Limited for consumers and enterprises. It supports backup and access across web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, covering photos, videos, audio, documents, contacts, and messages. The service suits users who want one place for mobile and desktop backups, media access, document storage, and sharing. Jio customers receive the service free, while non-Jio users receive a one-time three-month trial. JioAICloud currently advertises 50 GB of storage.
Its strongest differentiator is the breadth of everyday storage features. Automatic and manual backup can cover several content types, while file and folder links, private sharing, custom folders, and collaborative albums support personal organization and collaboration. Media can be streamed without downloading, and favorites can be made available offline. Document scanning creates searchable digital copies, while AI-powered photo grouping, creation, and content search help organize image libraries. Microsoft Office Online supports document editing and collaboration, and DigiLocker is listed as an integration.
JioAICloud also offers practical file management, including version management with up to 99 versions. For organizations, JioAICloud Enterprise adds team storage, user management, quota controls, sharing controls, reporting, and an enterprise admin console. The main buying constraint is the current storage model: paid plans and additional storage tiers are not available, so the service is a better fit for users whose needs fit within the advertised 50 GB or who qualify for the free Jio offering. Choose it for broad backup, media features, and AI-assisted photo organization; consider an alternative if you need paid capacity expansion.
