Jen Kea DHCP Management Console is an open-source, web-based administration layer for ISC Kea DHCP Server. It is aimed at homelab and small-business operators managing a handful of Kea servers, with browser access to leases, reservations, subnets, DHCP options, devices, alerts, backups, and configuration history. Its on-premises deployment model suits teams that want to retain control of the management environment and Kea data.

The console covers both daily administration and higher-level network operations. Administrators can browse, release, clean up, and filter leases; create, edit, delete, and import or export reservations through CSV; and manage subnets, pools, gateways, DNS, and DHCP options. IPv4 and IPv6 views are supported, while HA state monitoring and HA operations address environments using Kea's high-availability capabilities. Device inventory adds OUI-based type detection, and notifications can be sent through Pushover, Telegram, Slack, ntfy, Discord, email, or a generic webhook.

Security and recoverability are substantial parts of the product's scope. Role-based access control includes subnet-level permissions, and authentication can use TOTP or WebAuthn MFA. Audit logs, backups, configuration history, and restore functions provide administrative traceability and recovery options. Jen runs on Ubuntu directly or with Docker and connects to Kea through its control interface, database, and SSH; supported database integrations include MySQL and MariaDB, with OpenID Connect available for identity integration. Choose Jen when Kea is your DHCP foundation and you want centralized, self-hosted administration. Teams needing a tool for a different DHCP platform or a broader multi-server focus should choose another console.
