iStumbler is a macOS desktop utility for inspecting nearby Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth devices, Bonjour services, locations, and spectrum usage. It is aimed at people who need local wireless discovery and inspection from a Mac, including visibility into SSIDs, MAC addresses, signal, noise, channels, security, samples, and timestamps. Its agentless approach and local scope keep the product focused on nearby network conditions rather than wider infrastructure inventory.

The single iStumbler plan is listed at $14.99 as a one-time purchase. It includes Wi-Fi network scanning and detailed inspection, Bluetooth device discovery, Bonjour service and local-host browsing, Wi-Fi channel analysis, and 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrum analysis. The same plan also includes location mapping, KML export, and event logging with CSV-compatible scan records. Google Maps and Google Earth integrations extend the location workflow for users who need to view mapped findings outside the utility.

The product’s main strength is breadth within a narrow macOS wireless-discovery workflow: it brings network, device, service, channel, spectrum, location, and event-log tools together in one utility. That focus also defines its limits. It is suitable for Mac users who need inexpensive local Wi-Fi and Bluetooth visibility, but less suitable for teams seeking multi-platform coverage or a broader network scope. The vendor warns that the latest version crashes at launch on macOS Monterey, and the product is currently off-sale on the Mac App Store, despite a $14.99 purchase still being listed on the store page.
