IONOS Dedicated Servers provide single-tenant physical hardware for businesses, developers, and organizations running websites, databases, applications, game servers, streaming platforms, development environments, and AI workloads. Each server includes full root access, Linux or Windows operating system options, IPv4 connectivity, KVM/VNC console access, RAID protection, DDoS shielding, firewall management, and unlimited traffic on standard 1 Gbit/s connections. The service is aimed at teams that need direct server control rather than shared hosting, with optional support for control panels, hypervisors, and self-managed environments.

Pricing is structured across four monthly plans. L-16 HDD costs $47 per server per month and combines a 4-core Intel Xeon E3-1230 v6 processor, 16 GB DDR4 ECC RAM, and a 1 TB SATA HDD in software RAID 1. L-16 SSD costs $51 per server per month with the same processor and memory, plus a 480 GB SSD in software RAID 1. XL-32 NVMe costs $73 per server per month and adds a 4-core Intel Xeon E3-1270 v6 processor, 32 GB DDR4 ECC RAM, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD in hardware RAID 1. XL-64 NVMe costs $90 per server per month and raises memory to 64 GB while retaining the 1 TB NVMe SSD and hardware RAID 1. Backups are optional, so storage protection and recovery planning need separate consideration.

Platform fit is a practical strength for teams managing their own stack. IONOS supports web, API, and self-hosted use, with integrations or deployment options involving Plesk, Proxmox, Ubuntu, and Debian. A REST API supports administration, while eligible Intel Scalable and AMD EPYC plans support hypervisors. Five countries are published for dedicated server locations, and 24/7 support is included in the service description. Choose IONOS when unlimited traffic, root access, operating-system choice, and several storage tiers matter most. Consider another provider if included backups, newer processor options, or a simpler managed hosting experience are higher priorities.
