Our verdict on Instagantt
Instagantt is web-based Gantt chart software for professionals and teams that need visual project planning, scheduling, and tracking. Its core workspace uses drag-and-drop timelines, task dependencies, milestones, and baseline snapshots to organize project work. The product is available as a standalone application or with two-way Asana synchronization, making it particularly suitable for Asana users who want more structured timeline planning without leaving their existing project ecosystem. It also supports Kanban, table, dashboard, and portfolio views.
The free plan includes Gantt charts, up to 3 Asana projects, task dependencies, milestones, public snapshot links, and CSV export. The Individual plan costs $12 per user per month when billed monthly or $120 per user per year when billed annually, and adds unlimited projects, all chart views, baselines, critical-path analysis, and the AI Assistant. The Teams plan costs $24 per plan per month or $240 per plan per year and includes everything in Individual, 3 collaborators, team workload management, resource allocation, team availability, and portfolio view. A 7-day standalone trial is also available.
Its strongest distinction is the combination of schedule logic and capacity planning. Automatic downstream scheduling, critical-path analysis, workload views, resource allocation, and team availability give project leads more than a basic timeline editor. AI-assisted Gantt chart generation and exports to PDF, image, CSV, or public snapshot links add practical sharing options. Instagantt is a good fit for Asana-centered teams and individuals who need dependencies, baselines, and workload visibility. Teams seeking broader integrations or a non-web platform should choose an alternative.
