Our verdict on Inspect Point

Inspect Point is cloud-based software for fire and life safety contractors managing inspection and service operations. It brings digital inspections, recurring scheduling, deficiency tracking, proposals, work orders, invoicing, payments, compliance submissions, and customer access into one platform. Field applications support iPhone and iPad, with offline inspection workflows and documented Apple-silicon Mac support. It is best suited to businesses with compliance-heavy inspection programs, recurring visits, and service work that extends beyond inspection reporting.

Pricing is organized into four plans, with quote-based pricing and no free plan. Silver includes digital inspections, compliant reports, deficiency management, and email support. Gold adds sales proposals built from deficiencies and premium email support. Platinum adds service work orders, API and integration readiness, and premium email and phone support. Enterprise is designed for multi-branch rollout, custom scoping, and using the same platform across operations. Buyers should compare the required service, support, and integration capabilities against the appropriate tier before speaking with sales.

The platform’s strongest differentiator is its connected operational workflow. Inspection deficiencies can include photos, notes, resolution tracking, and proposals; the broader system also covers emergency dispatch, time and materials tracking, recurring invoices, payment collection, and compliance submissions to TCE, IROL, and LivSafe. Integrations include QuickBooks, Sage 100 Contractor, Vista by Viewpoint, Simpro, BuildOps, ServiceBridge, Odoo, Q360, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Ei Dynamics, The Compliance Engine, FDNY, and Salesforce. Organizations seeking a single system across inspections, service, compliance, and customer communication should consider Inspect Point. Smaller teams wanting a free entry point or simple inspection-only software may prefer a narrower option.
