Our verdict on Inoreader

Inoreader is a web-based content reader for people who collect information from many sources and need more control than a basic feed reader provides. It brings RSS feeds, websites, newsletters, social feeds, podcasts, and other sources into customizable workflows. Folders, tags, filters, rules, saved reading lists, article search, translation, text-to-speech, and AI-powered summaries support casual readers, researchers, media professionals, marketers, and teams.

The platform fits a multi-device and automation-oriented workflow. It is available on the web, iOS, Android, and through a Chrome extension, with programmatic API access for custom workflows. Integrations include IFTTT, Zapier, n8n, Pocket, Evernote, OneNote, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Instapaper. The Free plan includes RSS feeds, article search, Google News alerts, and a customizable view. Pro adds monitoring feeds, filters and rules, newsletter feeds, offline reading, and API access, while Custom adds custom add-ons and API access. A 14-day free trial is also available.

Inoreader’s main strength is breadth: it combines aggregation, monitoring, organization, offline mobile reading, automation, and AI features in one reading workflow. That makes it a strong fit for power users who follow changing topics, manage many feeds, or need to route content into other services. Readers seeking structured instruction or dedicated reading-practice features should choose a more specialized app instead. For research and information monitoring, however, Inoreader offers a wide set of tools across its free and paid plans.
