IN/OUT-SRT is a cloud relay service for transporting SRT video between studios, venues, production sites, and broadcasters. An encoder connects to an SRT input URL, while receivers use generated SRT output URLs. It is suited to teams that need short-term encrypted transport, multiple destinations, and caller-mode connections without static IPs or firewall changes. Supported tools include OBS Studio, vMix, Wirecast, FFmpeg, Larix Broadcaster, VLC, FFplay, and Haivision Play.

The published plans offer a free option with both server locations, multiple outputs, and passphrase protection. Free usage includes three streams per day with 30-minute limits. The Session plan costs $5 per 24-hour session and adds unlimited outputs and session renewal. The Bundle costs $40 per bundle and includes 10 streams, unlimited outputs, both server locations, passphrase protection, and session renewal. Stream creation, monitoring, and stopping are handled through Telegram, with transfer totals and packet statistics available for monitoring.

Its strongest fit is a focused SRT relay workflow: AES-128 encryption, support for streams up to 50 Mbps, multiple output destinations, and copy-mode delivery without transcoding. That last point preserves the incoming codec, while the SRT-only design keeps the service narrow. Choose IN/OUT-SRT when your encoders and receivers already work with SRT and you need a temporary relay with encrypted transport. Choose another service if you need transcoding or output protocols beyond SRT.

IN/OUT-SRT pros and cons

    • Copy-mode delivery preserves the incoming codec without transcoding
  • Where it doesn't
    • SRT-only output limits protocol flexibility
    • Free streams are limited to 30 minutes
    • Stream management is handled through Telegram
