A professional Android survey app with strong design and reporting depth.

iBwave Wi-Fi Mobile is an Android application for wireless technicians, installers, designers, and network teams that need to survey, design, validate, and document Wi-Fi deployments on site. It combines active and passive measurements with continuous walk surveys that save measurements automatically. Teams can create, scale, and geolocate floor plans, place access points automatically or manually, and attach geo-located photos, videos, audio, and text annotations to project work.
Its standout strength is the connection between field collection and Wi-Fi design. Prediction maps cover RSSI, capacity, throughput, SNR, and overlap zones, while automatic multi-floor channel assignment supports planning across larger environments. The app also supports network equipment modeling, design validation, customer close-out packages, PDF and other report generation, and project storage in iBwave Cloud. Integrations include iBwave Private Networks (Wi-Fi), iBwave Cloud, iBwave Unity, iBwave Viewer, and third-party network test tools, with projects able to continue in iBwave Private Networks on PC.
Pricing is subscription-based. The 30-Day Subscription costs $215 per license per 30 days and includes a user license, 10 GB cloud storage, iBwave Viewer, and AMS support. A 15-day free trial is available, and a 12-Month Subscription is also offered. The Android-only platform and paid licensing make this a focused choice for professionals already working in the iBwave ecosystem or needing structured survey-to-report workflows. Teams seeking broader platform coverage or a lower-cost analyzer should look elsewhere.
