IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps is an enterprise platform for monitoring, analyzing and automating IT operations across complex environments. It centralizes operational data, groups and correlates events, detects anomalies, maps application dependencies and helps teams localize incidents. Its audience is mature IT operations teams managing self-hosted, cloud or hybrid environments that need root-cause analysis, workflow automation and infrastructure provisioning in one platform. Deployment uses containerized software on Red Hat OpenShift or supported Linux clusters, with an API available for integration.

Pricing is contact-sales rather than subscription tiers with published amounts. IBM uses modular, use-case-based pricing, so buyers should expect to discuss the required scope directly with the vendor. There is no free plan. The platform supports a hybrid deployment model and includes automated and recommended runbooks, workload automation, natural-language processing for operational data, and retention controls for logs, metrics, alerts and topology. That combination is suited to organizations planning a substantial operational program rather than teams looking for a lightweight entry point.

Its ecosystem coverage is a major part of the product’s value. Integrations include ServiceNow, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Splunk, Dynatrace, Instana, New Relic, AppDynamics, PagerDuty, Ansible, Kafka and Zabbix. These connections support incident workflows, monitoring, logging, collaboration and automation across an existing toolchain. Event correlation, anomaly detection, topology mapping and auto-remediation give it broad scope, but that scope can be more than a small team needs. Choose IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps when self-hosting, hybrid operations and cross-tool automation are priorities; consider a narrower product when the requirement is limited to basic monitoring or alerting.
