Huawei Cloud Scalable File Service Turbo review
A focused Huawei Cloud file service for elastic shared storage across cloud servers.

Huawei Cloud Scalable File Service Turbo is a managed cloud NAS service for shared file access across cloud servers, containers, and bare-metal servers. It supports NFSv3 alongside SMB 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0, making it suitable for environments that need shared storage across mixed workloads. Typical use cases include AI training, EDA simulation, enterprise file sharing, content management, and web services. The service is available through web and API interfaces and is designed for Huawei Cloud environments.
Its strongest fit is the combination of elastic capacity expansion and configurable performance tiers. The published 40 MB/s/TiB plan lists up to 8 GB/s bandwidth, up to 250,000 IOPS, and 2–5 ms latency. Integrations with Elastic Cloud Server, Cloud Container Engine, Bare Metal Server, Virtual Private Cloud, Object Storage Service, Cloud Backup and Recovery, and Data Encryption Workshop support deployments built around Huawei Cloud services. Cloud Backup and Recovery integration adds file-system backup support, while OBS integration is available for supported NFS file systems.
Connectivity options include VPN, Direct Connect, and Cloud Connect, giving teams several ways to connect workloads to file storage. The service is a focused choice for organizations already using Huawei Cloud that need elastic NFS or SMB access, shared storage, and adjustable performance. It is less suitable for buyers seeking a free tier, multi-availability-zone file-system placement, or a wider set of advanced file-management capabilities. A single file system is created in one availability zone, and capacity limits can depend on regional rollout for some file-system types.
