HR Partner is a cloud-based human resources platform for small and growing businesses, particularly teams with 20–500 employees. It brings employee records, leave management, onboarding checklists, performance reviews, recruitment, self-service, expense claims, electronic signatures, reporting and organizational charts into one web-based system. Employees can access records, submit leave requests, enter timesheets and complete assigned checklists through the employee portal. The platform is also available through an API, supporting teams that need web-based HR with additional system connectivity.

Its plan structure maps features to growing HR requirements. Core covers employee records, self-service, leave requests, approvals and accruals, onboarding checklists, and up to 5 admin users. Premium adds recruitment and applicant tracking, performance reviews and employee goals, enhanced approval workflows, timesheets, clock-in and clock-out, eSignatures, and up to 10 admin users. VIP includes all Premium features plus priority support, a dedicated account manager, a custom domain and unlimited admin users. HR Partner is paid and includes a 14-day trial with no credit card required.

The strongest fit is a small team that wants broad core HR coverage in a browser, with connections to Xero, Slack and Merge. The employee portal gives staff a direct route for routine HR work, while the combination of leave, onboarding, performance, recruiting and time tracking reduces the need to split these processes across separate tools. Mobile access is browser-based rather than delivered through a native app, which may matter to employees who expect a dedicated mobile experience. Choose HR Partner for centralized web HR and a progression from Core to VIP; consider an alternative if native mobile apps are essential.
