HostPapa Canada review
A feature-rich shared host for beginners managing one or several websites.

HostPapa Canada provides shared web hosting for individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses. Its plans combine cPanel management with NVMe storage, SSL certificates, automated backups, email accounts, Softaculous application installation and CloudLinux account isolation. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, WooCommerce and PrestaShop are supported through the platform and its application installer. The service is available on the web and through an API, with 24/7 customer support and a headquarters in Burlington, Ontario.
Pricing is structured across four paid plans. Essentials starts at CAD 2.95 per month on a discounted three-year term and includes one website, 25GB of NVMe storage, two email addresses, a standard SSL certificate and 1GB automated backups; it renews at the regular rate. Growth expands coverage to five websites, 100GB of storage, 10 email addresses, 5GB backups and free website migration. Premium adds unlimited websites, 200GB storage, 40 email addresses, a premium single SSL certificate and free migration. Elite provides unlimited websites, unmetered NVMe storage, unlimited email addresses, a premium wildcard SSL certificate, 10GB backups and free migration.
The feature set extends beyond basic shared hosting. CDN delivery, website staging, free migration, one-click installation and automated backups address common site-management needs, while Imunify360 provides malware protection and a web application firewall. The main dividing line is scale: Essentials suits a single small site, while Growth and above are better aligned with multiple websites or larger storage and email requirements. Choose HostPapa Canada if you want cPanel and a broad set of included tools without assembling them separately. Consider another option if you need a free plan or prefer pricing that does not depend on a discounted long-term term.
