Host.com Dedicated Servers review
A flexible bare-metal platform for custom server builds and production workloads.

Host.com Dedicated Servers provides bare-metal infrastructure for developers, businesses, and production workloads that need dedicated hardware without virtualization overhead. Its configurations combine Intel Xeon or AMD EPYC processors, ECC memory, NVMe storage, dedicated networking, and IPMI access. The service runs through the web and supports custom choices for CPU, RAM, storage, RAID, operating system, and add-ons. It is best suited to teams that know their infrastructure requirements and want control over the underlying server build.
The published plans span four configurations. DS-Entry includes an Intel Xeon E-2434, 32 GB of DDR5 ECC memory, 2×480 GB NVMe RAID1 storage, a 1 Gbps unmetered network, IPMI access, free setup, and DDoS protection. DS-Standard moves to an AMD EPYC 9254, 64 GB of memory, 2×1.92 TB NVMe Gen4 RAID1 storage, and a 10 Gbps network. DS-Pro adds dual AMD EPYC 9354 processors, 256 GB of memory, 4×3.84 TB NVMe Gen4 RAID10 storage, and a dual-port 10 Gbps network. DS-Enterprise reaches dual AMD EPYC 9554 processors, 512 GB of memory, 8×7.68 TB NVMe Gen4 RAID10 storage, and redundant 25 Gbps networking.
Control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin are optional, as are daily or hourly backups, management, enhanced DDoS protection, and additional networking features. That flexibility suits custom deployments, but the unmanaged positioning means customers need the expertise to administer the operating system and services. Organizations seeking configurable bare metal, out-of-band access, and high-capacity NVMe storage should consider it; teams wanting included backups or a managed hosting experience should choose a service built around those requirements instead.
