HelpOne is a nonprofit operations platform with a substantial volunteer management module. It is designed for organizations that need more than shift scheduling, including schools, faith communities, social services organizations, community nonprofits, and national associations. Volunteers can manage profiles, availability, shifts, skills, training, timesheets, policies, and documents through a self-service portal. Administrators also get event management, fundraising, donor and contact management, finances, HR, policies, and training tools within the broader platform.
The volunteer workflow covers open-shift claiming, availability matching, event fill-rate views, hours approval, audit trails, and QR code check-in and check-out. Communication tools include SMS and email templates with delivery history. HelpOne also supports Checkr background-check integration with expiration reminders, certification tracking, custom forms, customizable reports, private events, and Form 990/P&L valuation. Stripe and PayPal are listed integrations.
