Our verdict on HeartMuLa
HeartMuLa is an open-source family of AI music foundation models for developers, researchers, and creators who want to run or extend a song-generation system. It generates music from lyrics, style descriptions, and musical tags, with support for multilingual lyrics and vocal generation. The project also covers short-form background music and long-form song creation up to six minutes, making it more suitable for model exploration and custom workflows than for a simple, consumer-first music app.

The project also includes HeartTranscriptor for lyric transcription and HeartCLAP for audio-text alignment and cross-modal retrieval.
