HaloITSM is an IT service management platform for internal IT teams and enterprise service organisations. Its scope covers incident, problem, change and configuration management, alongside asset records, service catalogues, knowledge management, self-service portals and SLA tracking. Teams managing employee or customer service requests can use it as a broader service management environment rather than a standalone configuration management database.

The platform’s main strength is breadth. CMDB and asset management sit alongside ticket workflows, approval processes, escalation, reporting and knowledge features, giving service teams a connected set of operational tools. AI capabilities support ticket triage, categorisation, resolution suggestions and knowledge suggestions. Mobile ticket management extends access to iOS and Android, while web access and a REST API support different working arrangements. Integrations include Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Jira and Salesforce.

HaloITSM should suit organisations that want CMDB capabilities within a modern ITSM suite, particularly where service catalogues, self-service, approvals, SLAs and mobile access matter together. The 30-day trial provides a defined evaluation window. However, teams seeking only a focused CMDB or asset register may find the wider service management scope unnecessary. It is also a paid product without a free plan, and regional pricing may differ. Choose HaloITSM when the goal is to bring configuration, asset and service workflows into one platform; consider a narrower alternative when CMDB is the sole priority.
