Our verdict on GTXGaming

GTXGaming hosts Minecraft Java and Bedrock servers from UK and worldwide data centres, with cloud deployment and a web control panel. It targets projects ranging from small vanilla worlds to modded servers with heavier plugins. Plans start at 1 GB of RAM and include unlimited player slots, instant setup, DDoS mitigation, scheduled offsite backups, restore tools and 24/7 support. The service also provides a file manager, log viewer, SFTP access, live console and CPU, disk and memory monitoring. GTXGaming was founded in 2008.

The published monthly plans are tiered by RAM and intended workload. Dirt costs £1.90 for testing and 2 to 5 vanilla players; Sand is £3.90 for small vanilla worlds with 5 to 8 players; Cobblestone is £5.80 for vanilla survival with 8 to 10 players; Iron is £7.80 for vanilla plus light plugins around 10 to 15 players; and Gold is £9.70 for light plugins with 10 to 15 players. Redstone costs £11.70 for modded starter packs, with Forge, Fabric and NeoForge readiness. Diamond is £13.65 for modded starters with 15 to 20 players, while Emerald is £15.60 for heavier plugins and mid-size modpacks, plus one-click modpack installs and priority 24/7 support. Servers can be upgraded or downgraded between RAM tiers.

Its ecosystem coverage is a central strength: one-click installation supports more than 5,000 modpacks, with integrations for CurseForge, Modrinth, Feed The Beast, Technic and ATLauncher. The panel supports 17+ server software types, including Paper, Forge and Fabric, with one-click switching and version management. Two-factor authentication, backups and DDoS protection address operational safeguards, while chat, ticket and documentation channels support administration. Choose GTXGaming for low-cost Java or Bedrock hosting where modpack breadth and monitoring matter. Buyers needing a free plan or a non-web management experience should look elsewhere.
