GroupMail is Windows desktop software for creating and sending newsletters, group campaigns, and automated messages. It suits individuals, small businesses, and organizations that manage mailing lists from a Windows computer, particularly teams that want local storage and direct sending without an external SMTP server. Its feature set covers HTML and plain-text editing, contact and group management, segmentation filters, personalization, bounce and unsubscribe processing, scheduled campaigns, and autoresponders.
The pricing structure starts with the free Lite Edition, which sends to up to 100 recipients at a time and includes 39 HTML templates plus CSV and TXT imports. The Personal Edition adds up to three delivery connections, unlimited-size email lists, 108 HTML templates, and personalized messages. Business Edition expands to 256 simultaneous connections and adds autoresponders, database linking, scheduling, and 142 HTML templates. The Marketing Pack includes Business Edition software, one year of Insights tracking, an opt-in form builder, priority technical support, and spam score checking. The paid editions are positioned as one-time purchases, while the Marketing Pack adds Insights-based tracking and reporting.
GroupMail’s strongest fit is its Windows-centered ecosystem. It connects with Microsoft Outlook, OneDrive, Excel, Access, SQL, MySQL, ACT!, FileMaker Pro, Oracle, and GoldMine, giving database-oriented teams several ways to work with existing records. Mailing-list and message data stays locally on the user’s computer, which may suit organizations that prefer desktop-managed campaign data. Choose GroupMail for traditional newsletter production, segmentation, scheduled sending, and Windows database integration. Choose another email marketing platform if cross-platform access, hosted workflows, landing pages, or A/B testing are central requirements.
