GPORTAL ECO Server Hosting review
A focused ECO hosting option with fast availability, backups, and slot-based plans.

GPORTAL ECO Server Hosting is a focused hosting service for ECO, the ecosystem simulation game from Strange Loop Games. It is designed for customers who want a prepaid, slot-based server with web management rather than a broader general-purpose hosting environment. The published offering includes 4-slot, 10-slot, and 20-slot plans, along with a 3-day rental option. Server availability is advertised in under three minutes, making the service a practical fit for groups that want to start an ECO server without a lengthy provisioning process.
Pricing follows the selected rental and slot configuration. The published plans show 4, 10, and 20 slots, with a displayed starting price of 5.95 in EUR pricing. The page also lists USD as an available currency option, and displayed prices depend on the selected region and currency. The service is paid rather than free, and the ECO page describes prepaid 30-day plans for the slot-based options. This structure suits customers who prefer a defined server size and rental period, while groups needing a different capacity may find the available choices restrictive.
The feature set centers on managed game-server operation. Customers can control the server through GPORTAL’s web interface, use Gamecloud game switching, and store savegames and configurations with 50 GB of backup storage. NVMe SSD hardware and DDoS protection are also included, while 24/7 ticket support provides a direct assistance channel. GPORTAL is a strong match for ECO players seeking a narrowly focused hosting service with backup storage and straightforward controls. It is less suitable for customers seeking a free option, non-web management, or slot sizes outside the published 4-, 10-, and 20-slot plans.
