GotFreeFax is a browser-based online fax service from Vannet Technology for individuals and organizations that need to send documents without a fax machine, special software, or an account. It is particularly suited to occasional senders, small document batches, and users who need access to US, Canada, or international destinations. Supported uploads include PDF, Word, ODT, RTF, and JPEG files, while a shared public fax number supports receiving faxes online.

The pricing structure centers on free sending and usage-based paid options. Free Fax allows up to three pages per fax, up to two free faxes per day, and delivery to US and Canada destinations without an account. Premium Pay-Per-Fax costs $1.25 per fax and supports one fax up to 10 pages, priority delivery, and PayPal payment. Premium Prepaid Fax costs $9.95 one time for 100 US/Canada page credits; the credits do not expire, there is no monthly fee, and the plan adds fax image downloads and broadcasting. International faxing to more than 200 countries and regions is available through the service's paid capabilities.

For organizations with workflow requirements, GotFreeFax extends beyond browser sending with a REST API for sending faxes and checking status, plus an MCP server for AI-agent fax sending. Its listed integrations include PayPal, Claude, and ChatGPT. The tradeoff is that inbound use centers on a shared public receiving number rather than a private dedicated fax number, and the product does not provide official iOS or Android apps. Choose GotFreeFax for occasional, low-commitment faxing, prepaid US/Canada pages, international delivery, or API-driven sending. Choose an alternative if private inbound faxing or mobile apps is central to the workflow.
