Gold Standard MCAT Prep offers online study materials for students preparing for the Medical College Admission Test. Its self-paced options cover the exam’s four sections, with practice questions and answer explanations, full-length practice exams, science lessons, and CARS practice. A free practice test provides an entry point, while mobile flashcards are available for iPhone and Android. The product is a fit for solo learners who want several MCAT study formats in one service; students preparing for exams outside the MCAT should look elsewhere.
The plans serve different study needs. MCAT Crash Course includes preparation for all four sections, 3,500+ practice questions, two full-length exams plus GS-Free, and more than 30 hours of science videos. It also allows unlimited test attempts during access. Home Study MCAT Prep Package includes 15 full-length practice tests, current AAMC Official Prep materials, a CARS Booster with five tests, an erasable noteboard, and 30-minute MD coaching. The separate CARS Booster includes five CARS tests and unlimited attempts during access. The site also lists a free practice test; the paid package prices are not covered here.
Exam history and result review help learners revisit submitted practice exams, while interactive chapter questions and explanations support review beyond full-length tests. Web, iOS, and Android availability gives students browser and mobile options, and support is offered by phone and email, though not around the clock. A key consideration is that unlimited attempts apply during the access period, so learners should account for the time available in their selected product. Choose Gold Standard for MCAT-specific practice, science content, and CARS materials, particularly if mobile flashcards matter; skip it if you need preparation for another exam or require 24/7 support.
