Our verdict on Glide

Glide is a no-code platform for creating data-connected business applications from spreadsheets, files, prompts, and other sources. It suits teams building internal tools, dashboards, portals, inventory systems, field operations apps, and workflow-focused software without traditional development. Apps support desktop and mobile web use, can be shared with teams or customers, and include authentication, access controls, templates, AI-assisted features, and integrations.

The plan structure gives teams a way to start without a subscription. Free includes 2 team members, 10 projects, integrations, and the ability to build AI features in apps. Basic costs $25 per month and adds 2 published apps, 1 enabled workflow, personal and team app publishing, and agent mode. Plus costs $50 per month with 5 published apps, 20 projects, 5 enabled workflows, and public app publishing. Pro costs $125 per month and adds unlimited published apps and workflows, premium integrations, MCP support, organization-level roles and permissions, and human support. Enterprise adds custom team size, single sign-on, enterprise integrations, 30-day data backups, a dedicated success manager, and priority support.

Glide fits organizations already working in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Airtable, Salesforce, Slack, Stripe, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zapier, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or BigQuery. Glide Tables and Big Tables provide built-in data storage, while workflows, APIs, and authentication support operational apps beyond simple spreadsheets. Its main boundary is platform format: the product is designed around responsive web delivery rather than native mobile publishing. Choose Glide for spreadsheet-led internal software and connected business workflows; consider an alternative if native mobile apps are a central requirement.
