Our verdict on GiveForms

GiveForms is an online fundraising and payment platform for nonprofits, schools, foundations, faith-based organizations, sports teams, and other organizations. Its core offering combines embeddable donation forms, campaign customization, recurring monthly and yearly gifts, donor management, automated receipts, and payment processing. Organizations can embed forms on their websites or share them directly, while donors may contribute through credit cards, PayPal, ACH bank transfers, Google Pay, or Apple Pay, depending on configuration and eligibility. Multiple currencies and branded donor communications are also supported.

Pricing is transaction-based rather than subscription-based. The Branded GiveForms plan charges 1.9% per successful charge and keeps GiveForms branding on forms and emails. The Unbranded GiveForms plan removes that branding and charges 2.9% per successful charge. Both plans include unlimited donors, forms, transactions, and team members. Separate Stripe, PayPal, or Plaid processing fees may also apply. The main paid-tier distinction is control over branding, while both plans provide the same stated capacity limits.

For day-to-day fundraising administration, GiveForms includes a donor portal for receipts and recurring-donation management, donor search and filtering, monthly donation reports and notifications, custom donor questions and designations, and a fee-coverage option.
