GitOpsHQ is a managed GitOps control plane for platform, DevOps and SRE teams managing Kubernetes deployments. It combines hosted Git repositories, OCI chart and manifest registries, Helm and Kustomize authoring, manifest previews, delivery generation, promotion, approvals, rollback controls and runtime visibility. The SaaS control plane connects to Kubernetes clusters through an open-source agent and works with ArgoCD or Flux for GitOps reconciliation. Teams can organize projects, workloads, tenants and environments while managing multi-cluster delivery and CI/CD variable updates.

The plan structure separates core authoring from delivery governance and enterprise controls. Free includes projects, workloads, tenants and environment catalogs, Helm, Kustomize and manifest editing surfaces, Git hosting, OCI chart workflows, API tokens and core preview tools. Pro costs $29 per user per month and adds promotion flows, advanced rollback, notifications across chat, email and escalation channels, resource permissions, teams and advanced editor capabilities. Enterprise costs $99 per user per month, adding advanced IAM, approval gates, the OPA policy engine, audit export, multi-cluster and runtime visibility, break-glass access and service accounts.

Its strongest fit is for teams that want one managed layer above existing ArgoCD or Flux installations. Helm IntelliSense, Kustomize build previews, overlays, manifest merge previews and Kubernetes resource topology support configuration work, while hosted repositories, webhooks and registries connect authoring to delivery. Integrations include Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Flux, Helm, Kustomize, OCI Registry, GitHub, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams and webhooks. Teams needing policy enforcement, audit trails, drift detection, remote commands or fleet visibility should evaluate Enterprise. Smaller teams may find Free sufficient for core workflows, while organizations seeking an open-source or AI-enabled product should choose another option.

  • Where it doesn't
    • Advanced IAM, OPA policies and fleet visibility require Enterprise.
    • Pro starts at $29 per user per month, adding per-user cost.
    • GitOpsHQ is not open source and has no AI features.
