GhostKitchen OS review
A stock and margin tool for shared-inventory kitchens, not an order dispatcher.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
GhostKitchen OS tracks ingredient-level inventory and menu availability for kitchens running multiple virtual brands from shared stock. It is aimed at small and mid-market operators who need to see what each brand can make from the same stock room, and how its costs and margins are changing. Recipes map menu items to ingredient quantities, while orders arrive through supported third-party aggregators or CSV. The product is web-based and cloud-deployed, with a multi-screen kitchen display for incoming orders.
Inventory and menu control are the central strengths. Stock is deducted as orders arrive, and menu items can become unavailable when the ingredients on hand cannot cover a recipe. Operators can record deliveries, waste and spot counts, then review an auditable stock movement history. Shared ingredients can be mapped across brands, while real-time COGS and margin reporting is organized by brand. These functions suit kitchens where ingredient availability and brand-level food costing matter more than dispatch tools; kitchens seeking delivery dispatch or a full order aggregation system should look elsewhere.
The published monthly plan is $129 per kitchen. It includes every brand, unlimited orders, as many kitchen display screens as needed, real-time COGS and margin per brand, and no per-order or setup fee. Order input is listed from Otter, Deliverect, Chowly or CSV; GhostKitchen OS does not connect directly to Uber Eats or DoorDash. No credit card is required to start, though the vendor does not specify a trial length. Choose it for shared-stock visibility and menu availability across brands; consider another product if direct marketplace connections or dispatch are central to the workflow.
