Ghost Browser is a Chromium-based desktop browser for professionals managing multiple accounts, websites, or client environments. Its permanent and temporary Identities separate cookie jars and related storage, while Workspaces preserve tab sets and authentication states for later use. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, making it a fit for users who need distinct browsing sessions rather than a general-purpose browser alone.

The plan structure is straightforward. The Free Version supports up to three Identities and includes Ghost Proxy Control with Workspace or Identity assignment, without requiring a credit card or account. The Basic Plan costs $21 per month when billed annually and adds unlimited Workspaces, unlimited Identities and Temporary Identities, Multiple Workspaces, Incognito Mode, and User Profiles. The Pro Plan costs $46 per month when billed annually, includes Basic features, adds proxy assignment to tabs, Identities, and Workspaces, and provides priority email support.

Identity management is the standout feature. Users can organize separate sessions through Workspaces, open separate browser instances with Profiles, and apply anti-fingerprinting controls such as canvas noising and WebRTC blocking. Ghost Browser also supports Chrome extension import and compatibility, plus Private Data Sync through user-selected storage providers including Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, and OneDrive. Choose it if account separation, workspace persistence, and proxy control are central to your workflow. Choose another browser if you need more than three Identities on a free plan or do not need this session-management focus.
