GestióIP is web-based IP address management software for network administrators managing IPv4 and IPv6 address spaces. Its free, open-source core covers subnet planning, hierarchical IPv6 addressing, network and host discovery, DNS integration, DHCP lease synchronization, VLAN management, auditability, statistics, search, filtering, database backups, spreadsheet imports, CSV exports, and API access. It can be deployed on premises or consumed as a cloud service, making it relevant for teams that want broad IPAM coverage without a core software license fee.

The feature breadth is a central strength. Discovery can use routing tables, ping, DNS, SNMP, and DHCP leases, while DNS support includes forward and reverse zone file generation. DHCP synchronization covers ISC DHCPD, ISC KEA, Microsoft DHCP Server, and generic lease files. Integrations with Microsoft DNS, BIND, tinydns, OCS Inventory NG, LDAP, and Microsoft Active Directory extend its fit across mixed network environments. Subnet calculation, IPv6 planning, VLAN discovery, audit history, and commercial API capabilities make it more than a basic address register.

Pricing separates the free IPAM core from the Configuration Management Module. Annual plans are €400 for up to 50 devices, €700 for up to 100, €1,500 for up to 500, €2,800 for up to 1,000, and €5,000 for up to 2,500 devices; each includes network configuration backup and management plus technical support. Teams seeking configuration backup should budget for that additional module, while teams focused on IPAM can choose the open-source edition. GestióIP suits organizations prioritizing coverage, control, and deployment flexibility; teams wanting configuration management included in the core should consider another option.

GestióIP pros and cons

    • Subnet planning, VLANs, auditability, imports, exports, and search included
    • Integrates with Microsoft DNS, BIND, DHCP systems, LDAP, and Active Directory
  • Where it doesn't
    • Network configuration backup requires a separate paid module
    • Cloud IPAM uses subscription pricing
    • Paid configuration tiers top out at 2,500 devices
