Gcore Video CDN delivers prepared live and on-demand video through Gcore’s global edge network. It is aimed at broadcasters, streaming platforms, media companies, and technical teams that already operate their own video workflows. Delivery covers HLS, LL-HLS, MPEG-DASH, HTTP-FLV, MP4, WebM, and MP3, with low-latency options and support for resolutions up to 4K. The service handles CDN delivery while customers retain responsibility for encoding, packaging, storage, and player management.
The published plans show a monthly PAYG option priced at €0 per month for video CDN delivery through Gcore’s global CDN network. The Enterprise plan adds custom infrastructure and commercial terms, custom CDN delivery pricing, and dedicated support. Enterprise delivery can use custom per-GB pricing. This structure suits teams that want to start with CDN delivery and move to a tailored commercial arrangement as infrastructure or support requirements become more specific.
Platform fit is a strong part of the offering. Gcore Video CDN can connect with S3-compatible storage, live packagers, third-party transcoders, custom origin servers, Terraform, and Grafana. Its feature set includes origin shielding, hierarchical caching, configurable token TTLs, geo-blocking, IP allowlists and blocklists, referrer-domain restrictions, custom domains, managed SSL certificates, FastEdge edge logic, prefetch, purge, logs, and reports. Multi-CDN deployment support adds another routing option. Choose it when CDN delivery and control over the surrounding video stack are priorities; choose a managed video service instead if encoding, packaging, storage, or player management should be included.
