Gamma SIP Trunks connects on-premise PBX systems to Gamma’s network for inbound and outbound public-network voice calls. It is aimed at businesses, public-sector organizations, and enterprises that want to retain existing telephony infrastructure while adding PSTN breakout, flexible channel scaling, and connectivity over internet, Ethernet, or private access circuits. Number retention and transfer also support organizations relocating their service.
Continuity and call control are central strengths. Business-continuity routing can direct calls between sites and alternative destinations, while optional SIP Trunk Call Manager adds centralized inbound management through a web portal and mobile app. Its feature set includes call queues, hunt groups, mobile rerouting, and CallGuard controls for fraud monitoring and customizable spend limits. G.729 and G.711 codec support address common voice connectivity requirements. Microsoft Teams Phone and Genesys integrations extend the service into established communications environments.
Gamma SIP Trunks suits organizations that already operate a PBX or related telephony estate and need managed connectivity, number transfer, scaling, and continuity options.
